Media outlets are starting to call Pennsylvania for Joe Biden, effectively making Biden president-elect. I say effectively because there is a lot in dispute. The Trump campaign is already out with a statement that can best be summed up in four words: Lawyer the f*** up.

The false projection of Joe Biden as the winner is based on results in four states that are far from final...Biden is relying on these states for his phony claim on the White House, but once the election is final, President Trump will be re-elected.

Here's where it gets a little confusing, and Twitter effectively being the telephone game, if everyone playing is high on cocaine, doesn't help matters. As far as I can tell, each state needs to certify the results once all the votes are counted. While media outlets are calling the race for Pennsylvania, the state itself isn't making a statement until later this afternoon. A campaign can't challenge the results in court until after the votes are finished being counted. Biden will still be considered the president-elect, but isn't officially president until January 20. The Trump campaign can file lawsuits and request recounts, and if the recounts go in his favor, he would win his second term.

If everything is still in dispute on Inauguration Day, the speaker of the House becomes interim president. But let's not even think about that.
