President Obama was going to have everyone pay attention to him, time limits be damned! Of course, the one part that stands out is when he claims the Climate Change Conference was one giant way to fight terror and shake your fist at terrorists. Those scoundrels are totally peeved about changing temperatures and stuff. Like, winter is the worst you guys. Makes people crazy and scream Allahu Akbar. Pushing for a powerful climate deal, President Barack Obama called the global talks opening Monday outside Paris an "act of defiance" against terrorism that proves the world stands undeterred by Islamic State-linked attacks in Europe and beyond.

Obama used his speech to more than 150 world leaders to salute Paris and its people for "insisting this crucial conference go on" just two weeks after attacks that killed 130 in the French capital. He said leaders had converged to show resolve to fight terrorism and uphold their values at the same time.

"What greater rejection of those who would tear down our world than marshaling our best efforts to save it," Obama said.

Again, we get the point he's making that getting back to normal is good way to respond. That's kind of true, so credit where it's due. That would be fine and this wouldn't be something we rolled our eyes at, except...

1. Obama has no interest in the actual "War on Terror." If he did, Obama wouldn't claim ISIS is contained just hours before they stormed Paris to blow themselves up and shoot people one by one in a theatre. So there's that.

2. Obama and his fellow leftists think climate change is worse for the planet than terrorism . Well, maybe. What leftists love about climate change is how they can make people feel powerful via guilt (humans are so destructive, therefore we're important, therefore my canvas tote bag will save us all!), the cure of which is skyrocketing taxes and regulations on businesses. Socialism for all!

3. Obama and his fellow leftists think climate change is the cause of terrorism. Excuse me while I put my eyes back in my head. Sometimes they roll right out. Ew, there's a bit of dirt on them... Talk about reaching. This inane idea is something we like to call a non sequitur: one has nothing to do with the other. Saying climate change causes terrorism is like saying the soy milk you put in your coffee makes your neighbor's farts smelly.

All this to say blaming the weather on terrorism is irresponsible. You might be able to blame the prevalence of clouds with SAD, but blowing people up? That's silly. Stop it.
