According to Fox 4:
Tarrio was sentenced to 22 years in prison for seditious conspiracy and obstruction of Congress.
Even though he was not in Washington D.C. during the attack on the Capitol, prosecutors said he coordinated the violent actions of his extremist group to try to block the transfer of presidential power.
Tarrio reportedly split from the Proud Boys after the attack.
Tarrio broke down the torture he went through the past four years.
“Solitary confinement is 24 hours a day. Every three days you get let out for 15 minutes to take a shower. Even though that's supposed to be the rule, there was this moment in Petersburg, Virginia where I went three weeks with no soap, no shower, no toothpaste, no toothbrush, and no deodorant. I looked and smelled like an ape,” Tarrio said.
He added that the worst part is “how easy one gets used to it.”
“It wasn't torture to me anymore as much as just ‘kick back and relax’," he said.
He recalled one specific instance during transport where he was forced to wear box handcuffs for 27 hours, even though those are only reserved for the scummiest people on Earth, which has a max time of four hours.
“It feels like your bones are being bent at all times. There's no reprieve, there's no break,” Tarrio said. “I did that for three years. That wasn't my first rodeo.”
In total, Tarrio was transferred to about 30-40 different prisons.
