Pro tip: when it comes to social media, try to be a little less stupid than normal. But Republicans Are Hateful… and Connecticut College Professor Calls for Death of White People). Second tip: don't advocate for the untimely demise of a president. Even if he's carrot-complected. You sensing a theme?

A college professor discarded his brain filter and puked his opinions all over Twitter. But word purging has consequences.

College lecturer Kevin Allred has drawn controversy and apparently lost his job after tweeting that he wants someone to kill the president. Allred, who was set to teach women’s studies at Montclair State University this coming semester, posted a message on Twitter saying:

Why is this young white turd teaching women's studies? PATRIARCHY. But Mr. Man Bun posted some follow-up tweets after deleting his first.

Still, one would think Allred would be more careful with his tweets, since this isn’t the first time he’s gotten into trouble over something like this. Back in November, when he was teaching at Rutgers University, he tweeted, “Will the 2nd amendment be as cool when i buy a gun and start shooting at random white people or no…?” This resulted in a police investigation and a forced psychiatric evaluation.

Charming fellow.

Tell us again about how peaceful, tolerant and loving the left is. We just love those stories. Because this professor, who teaches "women's studies" did call for the shooting of the president. Yes, freedom of speech is a thing. Inciting violence is not. Here, lemme break it down, using a fictitious president so as to avoid the Secret Service.

Allowed: "I totes hate President Silly String. I wish that guy would eat his own socks and shut up."

Not allowed: "I totes hate President Silly String. Someone should pop a cap in his ass."

Allowed: "I completely disagree with President Susie Sandwich's position on who should wear smurf underwear."

Not allowed: "President Susie Sandwich would look better dead, without a head."

See, I did both a male and female president. They can both be gender non-binary and trans-racial. To cover all the bases.

The problem with calling for the death of the president is because people in the past have actually offed presidents. See also: history. Also because of the inciting violence thing. Especially of presidents. I thought this was well-understood, yet this professor, who's hoping to teach things, didn't get it. Great.
