I thoroughly enjoy ripping the universities as being ridiculous indoctrination camps, but my perspective comes as a student. Lately, numerous academics and former academics have begun speaking out, reaching wider and wider audiences to point out the absurdity of the academy, which has all but destroyed its credibility and worth in modern society.

People like James Lindsay and Jordan Peterson have become infamous for pointing out where the woke universities have gone completely off the rails, but Peter Boghossian has also played a role in this fight. He partnered with Lindsay and Helen Pluckrose when they conducted their hoax academic papers experiment, which allowed so many woke grievance studies publications to beclown themselves in epic fashion.

Boghossian, who once served as an assistant professor of philosophy, was on Glenn Beck’s podcast and had some interesting things to say about the academy.

“It is better for you to look at a wall than to engage in a practice that takes you away from reality. […] It is better to not learn something that is false […] it’s better to not do it at all. […] We have institutions now that are teaching people things that are totally untethered to reality.”

And the list of academics who prove Boghossian’s point is unending. Professor after professor work tirelessly to fill the minds of college students with garbage in lecture halls all over the country. It would be far better for these students to be out in the world learning actual skills than to have them sit quietly absorbing the messages being dumped into their brains.

The public k-12 system is meant to prime young kids for their final indoctrination into the leftist ideology in the universities. It’s time something else is started to replace them.
