Obviously no one reading this is a Pete Buttigieg supporter. Let alone voting for him (see Pete Buttigieg Supporter Teaches Other Supporters ‘High Hopes’ Dance and Even Gay Pete Buttigieg is Annoyed by LGBT Media). But this video is remarkable in that it's peak progressivism. A white leftist -- claiming to speak on behalf of a Black Lives Matter chapter -- stealing a microphone from a black Buttigieg supporter to lecture a black audience on presumedly black issues. How quaint.

To paraphrase the great Nigel Tufnel, there's something about this that's so progressive, it's like how much more progressive could this be? And the answer is none. None more progressive. It reminded me a little of this Family Guy clip where Peter thought he was a woke feminist.

Let's set aside identity politics for a minute. None of us here support any of that crap. But let us marvel at the stones on the white "ally" to interrupt a meeting of African Americans, because he feels they aren't being African American enough. Which in this case means supporting whatever candidate he wants them too. I use "stones" ironically because my dude is most likely a vegan who donated whatever ones he had to the Womyn's March. Who had no such use for such shriveled prunes raisins.

If you're looking for a reason why Trump is seeing support amongst African Americans on the rise, part of it is probably people being tired of leftist bullshit like this.
