When I was a kid, cartoons consisted of silly, childish predicaments followed by wholesome life lessons designed to help kids learn and mature. Now, they're literally telling kids that Abraham Lincoln didn't free the slaves and that African Americans need reparations. Oh.

Any parents out there who still allow their kids to watch Disney unsupervised, you might wanna listen up. A new episode of the Disney+ show 'Proud Family' featured a song about reparations and explained how "slaves built this country."

Some of the lyrics include, "We the descendants of slaves in America have earned reparations for their suffering. And continue to earn reparations every moment we spend submerged in a systemic prejudice, racism and white supremacy that America was founded with and still has not atoned for.”

It also claimed President Lincoln did not, in fact, free the slaves: "Then they say Lincoln freed the slaves. But slaves were men. And women. And only we can free ourselves. Emancipation is not freedom."

It went on to suggest that prisons are the new slavery, as one of the characters chanted, "Jim Crow, segregation, redlining, public schools feeding private prisons where we become slaves again."

So basically, Disney has been hijacked by Critical Race Theory activists who literally want your children's minds. Chris Rufo shared a clip of the producer of this show, Latoya Raveneau, admitting she is employing a "not-so-secret gay agenda" and "adding queerness" to kid's shows. Because what good is kids show without a little - ahem, a lot - of queerness?

I must admit, this is all quite confusing to me since we've been reliably informed time and time again that Critical Race Theory actually doesn't exist at all, has never been taught, and no kindergartener has even heard of "anti-blackness" or "white privilege." Except now it's literally on children's TV shows for everyone to see.
