News broke over the weekend of a Queens school where students started a riot, targeting a Jewish teacher that had to be LOCKED IN HER CLASSROOM for her own safety. Mayor Eric Adams said in response that, quote, this was not who New York City was.

It's growing increasingly clear that this is exactly who New York City is. It's definitely who the administration of Hillcrest High School is. A week before they attempted to cover up a riot, they attempted to cover up a school safety officer getting brutally assaulted by students.

That is the accusation being made by Councilwoman Vickie Paladino, who shared a video provided to her by a whistleblower in the NYC Department of Education. At least two students were being broken up by the resource officer before they started to beat him down.

Paladino says of the video, "It's clear that the administration of Hillcrest is totally compromised and either unwilling or unable to do what's necessary to provide a safe environment to their students or their faculty. Furthermore, they seem more than willing to cover up crimes committed by their students in service of a political narrative and to prevent these criminal students from facing consequences."

A week later, there was another riot at the school. Students found a picture of a teacher at a pro-Israel rally two days after Israel was the victim of a barbaric terrorist attack, holding a sign that said, "I stand with Israel." The pro-Hamas NYC students (Queens voted 66% for Joe Biden in 2020), who are said to be "radicalized" as opposed to just being progressive Democrats, started a group chat, exposed the teacher, then agreed they were going to start a riot and get the teacher.

Why? As one student said, "Drag that basic cracker ass b*tch."

Urban Dictionary defines "cracker" as "often used as a derogatory term for a white person for obvious reasons." The teacher who stands with Israel is a white woman.

Paladino says the administration must be held accountable, and the students who committed these acts must be arrested immediately and face appropriate criminal charges.

The other incident, where students terrorized a Jewish teacher, is also under investigation. Something called Project Pivot is beginning outreach with students at Hillcrest this week "to ensure they understand why this behavior was unacceptable."
