Rachel Dolezal...'memba her? The white girl who pretended to be black because she claims she "self identified" as black? Here, let's refresh your memory...

The former Spokane, Wash. NAACP chapter president desperately clung to her 15 minutes of fame during a “Today” show interview Tuesday, touting a new book and denying any regret over the race controversy that forced her to resign last year.

As anchor Savannah Guthrie delicately asked if the daughter of two white parents regretted “some of the things that you said about yourself that have now been revealed to not be true” — i.e., passing herself off as black for years — the activist refused to bite.

“Um, I’m not sure what you’re referring to with that, but definitely I don't have any regrets about how I identify,” Dolezal fumbled. “I’m still me, and nothing about that has changed.”

Well, I guess I have no disagreement here. She is in fact, still her. Her, being white. My favorite part is toward the end of the interview however, in her plea for sympathy, she entirely deconstructs her own argument.

"Race didn't create racism. Racism created race...

... what is race? is there one human race or, are there, you know? Like, why do we still want to go back to that worldview of separate races?"

... What? Come again? This broad made her living, working with the NAACP. An organization whose entire existence is predicated on the very concept of different races, and the required recognition/preferential treatment for members of a specific race. Rachel Dolezal CLEARLY understands that there are genetic differences between races or she never would have tried to fake people out into believing she was black.

This is just such a perfect encapsulation of today's SJW left. When it comes time for grants, scholarships, reparations or identity politic gimmes, they'll gladly slap their "race" card on the table. When they've claimed the mantle of ambassador for an entire race of people and are subsequently caught with their pants down, all of a sudden they're holding hands, singing "we are the world," claiming race is but a figment of your imagination. Tell me again... which party is "anti-science"?

Wish I could say I didn't see this one coming...
