Uh Oh! Rachel Maddow Caught BLATANTLY Misleading Viewers on Tax Cuts
Rachel Maddow is one chatty Chad. When she's not embarrassing herself with attempts at coherent thought, she's gabbing up her show with lies. Last night, for instance, she flat out misled her viewers on the new tax cuts. Take a gander, but use eye protection of some sort.
Liberal MSNBC host Rachel Maddow told her viewers Wednesday night that their taxes are going up to give major corporations an "embarrassing amount of money," even though 80 percent of taxpayers are expected to see their taxes go down next year.“So the effects of the tax bill started to reverberate today as the wealthiest people and most powerful corporate corporations in this country started almost literally scrambling to figure out how they’re going to handle the money the Republican tax bill just gave them,” she claimed.
She's referring to this little diddy: In Response to Tax Reform, Three Grateful Major Companies Help Employees...
Yeah, because a company choosing to spend the money they're going to save improving the lives of employees is "scrambling to figure out how to spend money." But here's the real kicker.
“So when your families’ taxes go up because of this bill, you can take comfort in knowing that’s what you’re paying for, you’re giving telecom companies and biggest banks in the country a really embarrassing amount of money to have to explain away.”
Which families is she referring to? Must be the less than five percent who will see a tax increase of more than $10. According to the Tax Policy Center analysis (known for being of leftist persuasion), more than 80 percent of Americans will pay less in taxes thanks to this new policy.
Sounds a lot like Rachel is fear-mongering. Either way, what she's insinuating is wrong on both ends. You'd think the left would get tired of being so wrong all the time.
