Racists Tamper With College Admissions: Asian-Americans Hardest Hit
A large confederation of special interest groups came together in a single cause last week, joining forces to file a federal complaint against a multi-billion dollar insitution for their racial bias in university admissions. The groups allege that the systemic and entrenched racist policies of the university are resulting de facto discrimination against Asian-American students.
The racist policy they are targeting? Affirmative action quotas. BOOM! Bet you didn't see that coming. Unless... you saw exactly that coming.
USA Today reports:
More than 60 Chinese, Indian, Korean and Pakistani groups came together for the complaint, which was filed with the civil rights offices at the justice and education departments. They are calling for an investigation into Harvard and other Ivy League institutions that they say should stop using racial quotas or racial balancing in admission."We want to eliminate discrimination of Asian Americans, and we want procedural justice for all racial groups," Yukong Zhao, one of the chief organizers and a guest columnist with the Orlando Sentinel, told NBC News. "All racial groups should be treated equal."
That's right, the government endorsed policy of weighting admissions specifically to achieve minimum quotas of "diversity" and fairness are, as it turns out, pretty damn unfair. This is news.
The students filing the complaint allege that Asian-Americans as a group have some of the highest qualifications and lowest acceptance rates to the prestigious, leftist University. "This isn't just about discrimination and race. It is about justice for everyone," said Yukong Zhao, one of the group's organizers.
The complaint is facing criticism from people who claim it is just a way to try and end affirmative action which was put in place to stop racists from unfair admissions processes that favor one race over another.
Wait a second.
So the system of minority racial preference over qualifications that was put in place to bring down an old system of racial preference over qualification is under fire... for discriminating against a minority group by using racial preference over qualification... and the defense from the university is that they have to do it because... racism?
The racism hierarchy is getting awfully confusing, but I think the end result is that you are definitely a racist. Yes. Let's go with that.
