In the past few years especially, there's been tons of Islamic extremism going down in France. Truckloads one might say. After having been crapped on multiple times, Frenchies decided they'd rather not be blasted from here to eternity. Can't say I blame them. Step one? Get rid of all the pro-jihad epicenters. So that's what the French government has been doing. Turns out they've shut down quite a few.

French authorities shut down 20 mosques and prayer halls they found to be preaching radical Islamic ideology since December, French Interior Minister Bernard Cazanueve said Monday.

Of the country's 2,500 mosques and prayer halls, approximately 120 of them have been suspected by French authorities of preaching radical Salafism, a fundamentalist interpretation of Sunni Islam.

"There is no place ... in France for those who call for and incite hatred in prayer halls or in mosques ... About 20 mosques have been closed, and there will be others," Cazaneueve said.

Finally. This is a welcome contrast to the French PM shrugging his shoulders and telling people to get used to being 'sploded. France is pulling itself together and taking action (MEANWHILE IN FRANCE: Man Wards Off Violent Islamic Migrants With Gun...). It may be small, but it's a start. By the way, 20 mosques? Hating on infidels and possibly plotting terrorism? No thanks. That's terrifying.

Is it any wonder how the French got into this situation into the first place? Hint: it wasn't by having effective national security. French culture took a backseat to Muslim theocracy. Then the car exploded, because Islam.
