Rand Paul woke up this morning. Maybe put in some work on the Peloton. Fed the dog, poured a cup of coffee, and checked Twitter trends. At which point he rolled up a joint so he could truly enjoy the #FauciEmails. Okay, so I don't know if any of that is true. But it's the way I imagine the senator started his morning. His nemesis and intellectual punching bag was trending in the most amazing way possible. With an email trail showing Senator Paul, my editor Courtney, and others on the right were right all along.

Senator Paul finally broke his silence with a simple, two-word tweet: Told you.

Ten bucks says he had to be talked out of including the words "I F*cking" and "so" with a middle finger emoji. But he did throw in #firefauci as a hashtag. This is going to make the upcoming hearings with Fauci VERY interesting. As they usually are when Paul, a practicing doctor, goes one-on-one with Fauci, a bureaucrat and media whizore.

It's funny. Anthony Fauci has never turned down a media invite or opportunity to appear in front of a camera. Something tells me he's all of a sudden going to stop replying to interview requests. I'm kidding. The media is going to be too busy burying this story to send him any interview requests.
