But seriously folks, if you could call this serious. "Conspiracies" are all the rage in these deranged times (see Actor Jesse Williams Says ‘NFL Standing for the Anthem is a Military Conspiracy!’ and WaPo Reporter: Voters Too Stupid to Understand Russia Conspiracy. About That…), but the conspiracy surrounding the Earth really being flat? As if we've been lied to for centuries?

B.o.B. is all about it, and he's asking for your help.

"I'm starting this GoFundMe because I would like to send one, if not multiple satellites, as far into space as I can, or into orbit as I can, to find the curve," he said in a video on the page.

"I'm looking for the curve," he added.

The curve which B.o.B refers to is a recurring theme in Flat Earthers' conspiracy theories. Adherents believe that, were the Earth actually round, then the curvature of the Earth would be more visible to the naked eye.

To be fair though, maybe this is all just a hustle. We've all wondered what would happen if we set up a GoFundMe page that just said: "Please Give Me Your Money" to see if it works. Mayhaps B.o.B. is looking to prove that theory.

I can respect that.

Every day we see people dig deeper into the hole of stupid. So I can both believe that B.0.B. has the mental capacity of a castaway sock, but also believe some of his fans would follow him to the edge of the flat Earth.
