When we say "beautiful and brave," it comes from the media telling us how beautiful and brave Bruce was. Unfortunately for both Bruce and Caitlyn, when he transitioned from man to woman she didn't also transition from conservative to progressive. While the Left and the media (but I repeat myself) demand we affirm all things trans, affirming a Trump supporter is a bridge too far.

Rooney could have also gone the Dylan Mulvaney route and turned himself into a TikTok ingénue. Brands can't wait to sign trans spokeswhatevers to hock their products. And a former "country" music star who went from he to her? Bud Light may have found the answer to all their problems.

But as he said, the rumors aren't true.
