Jamie Raskin claimed Trump wants to annex Canada so that he can appoint Musk as president, despite there being no evidence to support such a foolish claim.

He does realize that America elected Trump, right? So when he claims we need to protect this nation against the democratically elected President of the United States, you would think he actually had a point. However, he has no point and is just saying random things at the expense of logic and reality.

According to the Star Democrat:

During the town hall Saturday, Raskin expressed concerns with the Republican Party's priorities.

He brought up recent actions taken by President Donald Trump and the Department of Government Efficiency. He said he is trying to "stop this savage assault on American democracy."

"They're not opponents of corruption," Raskin said. "They're agents of corruption."

Does he not realize that his party has record-low approval ratings? And at the same time, 70 percent of voters believe Trump is doing what he promised. So in other words, this is what the people voted for and it makes no sense why he claims making good on promises is an “assault on American democracy.”

According to the New York Post:

An overwhelming majority of Americans — 70% — believe Trump is doing exactly what he campaigned on and most of them have a favorable impression of him so far, according to a new poll.

Only 30% of respondents felt that Trump’s actions have deviated from his campaign promises and overall, the president has notched a 53% approval rating, per a CBS News/YouGov poll.

The high marks extended to much of Trump’s major decisions as well, with 59% approving of his deportation efforts, compared to 41% disapproving. Some 64% backed his decision to dispatch troops to the US-Mexico border relative to 36% who disapproved.

The left will take anything they don’t like and call it a threat to democracy. However, that is exactly the sort of crap that cost them the election and why they continue to become increasingly unpopular with the American people. So while Raskin claims to be all in it to end corruption, he’s not fooling anyone and that could not be further from the truth.
