Chicago Tops Rattiest Cities List For Ninth Consecutive Year
Rats are social creatures and need the company of other rats. This is why rats love Democrat-run cities where there is no shortage of them. In fact, the top 10 most rat-infested cities in the U.S. are run by Democrats. Or should we say, DemocRATS?
Time to switch out the donkey for a rodent. There’s a reason it’s called the “swamp.”
For the 9th consecutive year, Chicago gets the gold as it topped the list of Orkin's annual "Top 50 Rattiest Cities List," a press release from the Pest Control company said.
Of course, we are not surprised since Democrats always win the rat race.
And that's without counting the rodents!
Cong-rats to Chicago! We were wondering why it was becoming so rat-ical.
The Windy City also can’t blow its bed bugs away because it also ranked number one for the third consecutive year on Orkin’s Bed Bug Cities list.
Los Angeles came in second for the rat race, followed by New York, who ranked in the bronze.
No surprise, rats are considered one of the world's most invasive species.
Actually, the majority of the 50 cities on the list are Democrat-run. This is no surprise to anyone reading this since rodents love a cesspool.
Orkin actually decided to celebrate Chicago’s top spot placement by releasing a limited-edition t-shirt made available for free while supplies last. The shirt commemorates the dedication Chicago has as it perseveres in the battle against rodents.
Unfortunately, as of writing this, the shirt is no longer available. It was a very cool shirt and we all missed out.
According to NBC, Mayor Brandon Johnson's 2024 budget includes $14.8 million allocated to the "Bureau of Rodent Control," which "baits and eliminates rodents, educates residents on how to reduce the risk of rodents on their property, and removes dead animals." This is approximately $1.5 million more than it was in 2023, according to city documents.
No surprise, Chicago has been run by Democrats for over 100 years. It's probably safe to assume that liberal policies attract rodents.
These are the list of cities that made the top 10 on Orkin's list of 50:
- Chicago
- Los Angeles
- New York
- Washington, D.C.
- San Francisco
- Philadelphia
- Baltimore
- Denver
- Detroit
Honorable mentions go to Houston, who jumped up 10 spots this year to #20, and Greensboro, N.C., moves up 17 spots to take #50.
“Rodents multiply swiftly and when an infestation is left unattended, they can cause extensive damage to homes and yards,” said Ben Hottel, an Orkin entomologist. “Rats are capable of squeezing into spaces through holes as small as a quarter, which makes it especially important to seal cracks from the outside.”
This list just sums up all the impressive achievements of Democrat-run cities.
