Former Baltimore Raven Ray Lewis built a legacy for himself as one of the toughest and meanest football linebackers in the history of the sport. But that doesn’t stop him from scolding the criminals in Baltimore.  In a video lighting the internet ablaze he told Baltimore rioters to ‘get off the streets’ and that ‘violence has never been the answer’. He also sounds pretty dang mad doing it.

It seems ironic that Ray Lewis, who at one point was accused of murder, would be one of the few voices pointing out that violence doesn’t help—it hurts. But he is. The guy clearly feels for Baltimore, which throughout the speech he calls ‘our city’.
