Vox recently released an "OMG Obamacare is WONDERFUL!" video, so inane you might lose several million brain cells while watching. Which is why Steven rebutted the bull crap. Let's be super clear here: it's not the responsibility of healthy people to support you, your employment choices, or your sickness... by gunpoint. That's exactly what a mandated YOU MUST BUY INSURANCE is, though. It forces everyone to buy into a product so as to support the sick who need to be cared for. Rather like forcing a stranger to clean the cat litter box even if they don't have cats. Or if you don't have a dog who does it for you.

Of course insurance companies need healthy people paying into a service they're not using (because they're healthy) to offset the high costs of paying for the sick. Vox's little animated video with the innocuous female voice of the sister, who pets her cat more than she works, unintentionally makes the case for opening up insurance across state lines. Because competition in the marketplace is good for everyone. Even the afflicted mother of two felines. Who's work apparently consists of infrequent mouse clickage. Don't strain yourself.

This cat is more productive than the ailing twit in the video. Not sorry.

So Vox (and its liberal pustules), maybe do a bit more research on what's actually going to benefit the parents of felines before making utter fools of yourselves. Or not.
