There I was scrolling through Instagram when I came upon a video posted of a speech from Representative Tom McClintock of California. Not all Californians are crazy, America. Draw a vertical line down the center of California. Split it somewhere down the Central Valley. To the west, crazy. To the east, not crazy. Tom McClintock represents constituents on the un-crazy side, and I daresay this speech likely represents many of you. He took to the House floor to swipe at Governor Gavin Newsom's COVID policies, how they've impacted Americans and their lives, and what he sees coming. You're going to like this one. Trust me.

Independent third-party fact-checkers won't like this video. And because I'd like to share this story on Facebook for the Facebook users to see, I have to stick to commenting on the video itself. By the way, I hate that. But until y'all who see this from Facebook get off Facebook, that's how it has to be. McClintock asks a number of fair questions, mainly:

1. If shutdowns are so successful, why do we keep having them?
2. Why not be more like Sweden? Isn't it interesting media seems to have all but ignored the flat-packed furniture creators?
3. What is the human cost of the shutdowns?

I do hope McClintock is right about people finally asking questions. It's been a frustrating *does mental math* nine months of this COVID shutdown garbage. From the beginning I said the COVID panic was, IN MY OPINION, a trojan horse for socialism. Go ahead, look around, and tell me I'm full of crap. But only tell me how full of it I am after you listen to Canada's hair product model, Justin Trudeau, say it's time for the "great reset."

Ask questions. Find answers. Stop relying on media to tell you what media wants you to think. Do a little fact-finding of your own and crunch a few numbers yourself. The information is out there (even on this website). So much information, in fact, the more you learn about COVID, the scarier our situation becomes. And I don't just mean contracting a virus.
