"Planned Parenthood isn't just an abortion clinic," tweets the 250 lb feminist with rainbow hair and a septum piercing. For once, she's right. Planned Parenthood doesn't just provide abortions (see The Truth About Planned Parenthood and Pro-Abortion Democrats). They also harvest the organs of the babies they butcher. At no extra cost, mind you. Then they sell said baby parts. And apparently they do so with huge profit margins.

"The [abortion clinic] has no costs so the payments from the [procurement business] to the [abortion clinic] are pure profit," the report concludes. "All costs are born by the [procurement business] or the customer. The payments from the customer to the PB exceed its cost by a factor of 300 to 400 percent."

"The abortion industry sells baby hearts, livers, brains, hands and other organs procured by a middleman company inside their facilities at no cost or effort to the facilities themselves. The facility receives upfront fees that can amount to five-figure sums every month and then the procurement companies resell organs for tens of thousands more - depending on the child's characteristics," Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the Susan B. Anthony list, said in a release. "The documents make clear there is absolutely no cost to the abortion clinic so that all monies received go to their bottom line."

Pro-life activists said those practices run counter to federal law, which bars clinics from profiting off of the sale of baby body parts.

Yeah, so this is confirmation that everything that was uncovered was 100% true. Planned Parenthood did a lot to try to cover up the sale--and great profit--of baby parts. Not to put too fine a point on it, but we're talking about the dismembered parts of unborn children. Cover ups, by the way, tend to happen when the party doing the covering knows they're generally up to no good. Usually we call that a "guilty conscience." Planned Parenthood calls it choice.

If Planned Parenthood wants to sell dead baby parts, that's totes okay to the left. We'll skip past the whole "it's kind of illegal" or "your evil rivals that of only Satan himself" part. It'll fall on deaf ears anyway. Especially the ears of babies that've been butchered. Also, never mind Planned Parenthood, in making huge profits from baby parts, now has an added incentive to push abortion... Whatever happened to that whole "safe, legal and rare" talking point used by the left? Should we maybe change that to "safe, legal, cha-ching"?

Here's the sticking point for me: If Planned Parenthood really cared about using these organs "for a good cause" (which is how they justify it), why aren't they donating said parts for free?

We at LwC are adamantly against abortion. Nothing, for us, justifies the systematic slaughter of unborn children. What would be nice is if all you pro-choicers stopped pretending what you advocate is flowery, wonderful or heroic. Want to use the remains of the murdered humans? Okay. You're a terrible person. Let's not pretend you're doing it to help people. You can't kill someone, then sell their parts, and claim to be "helping people." See the conflict there?
