In case you haven't noticed, there's been quite the uptick in tranny-ness (see PROGRESS: NatGeo Goes Full Crazy, Pushes Transgender 'Revolution'). At first, coming out as transgender was a rare act of "bravery," worthy of being promptly showered with praised. Now it seems as though every Tom, Dick and Harry is becoming Jane, Doris and Sally. It's ballooned so much that doctors can't keep up with the rising numbers...

Demand for trans-specific medical care like counseling, hormone treatments, and genital surgery - is exploding, even for the youngest of patients. At the 30-plus clinics for transgender youth across the US, doctors like Olson-Kennedy can barely keep up with the demand.

Chicago's Luria Children's Hospital, for example, opened its trans clinic just four years ago but already has 500 patients - and a four month waiting list. Olson-Kennedy's clinic, the Center for Transyouth Health and Development at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, is the country's largest, treating 725 trans youth from across the western US.

Insurance companies prove a roadblock for many patients. But with California law making it illegal to deny care for gender dysphoria and with her healthy appetite for a fight, Olson-Kennedy usually gets her way. "My goal is to make this absolutely mainstream..."

Just a quick reminder here. Transgenders only make up a fraction of a fraction of the population. Yep, all the demand for transgender friendly bathrooms and correct pronoun usage? That's all been for about 0.3% of human beings on the earth. Though by looking at these overcrowded hospitals, one couldn't tell...

Rather than come up with a viable solution to the overabundance of transgenders demanding health coverage, according to Olson-Kennedy, doctors are threatening and bullying insurance companies into covering procedures. Since trannies are the new protected class and whatnot. If not the "protected class" they're certianly the "popular" class. If you're not a tranny, you're so not "in," my dear. The in thing to do is to out yourself. Didn't you know? Shove those fat feet into peep toes. Grow a beard, ladies. Get with the funky times.

But seriously, encouraging wee tots to swap genders and block puberty is a problem. One of many. Like forcing the state to cover said child abuse. But if you take notice of this crazy?
