When I first heard about the alleged "secret society" in the FBI, I was all like...

Apparently there is an informant. An informant telling Senators that the secret society held meetings. Secret meetings. Probably in a subbasement of a Benihana. All wearing Harry Potter masks.

SEN. JOHNSON: What this is all about is further evidence of corruption, more than bias. Corruption of the highest levels of the FBI. The secret society -- we have an informant talking about a group that was holding secret meetings off-site. There is so much smoke here. There is so much suspicion.

BRET BAIER: Let's stop there. Secret society? Secret meetings off-site of the Justice Department? You have an informant saying that?

SEN. JOHNSON: Correct. Yes.

Let me start off by saying that, personally, I'm against attacking the FBI as a whole. Ranting about a DEEP STATE doesn't help anyone. Please stop it. It also demoralizes everyone who serves their country working for the agency (see FBI Teams Up With Local Police to Bust MS-13 Gang Members and FBI Discovers ISIS Supporter Planning Terrorist Attack in NYC). When you start declaring war on the organization, demanding federal marshals make arrests, that gets dangerously close to third world dictator status. I'm not here for any of that. You shouldn't be either.

But something is up. There are clearly Hillary loyalists with #RESIST bumper stickers on their Priuses working for the agency. For whatever reason, they appear to be involved in the Trump investigation. "Whatever reason" is probably to delegitimize Trump, and all his accomplishments by extension. They're pushing the Russia collusion theory that only tinfoil hat wearing leftists seem to believe, to further stroke the crazy on the left.

It's not a conspiracy to believe these specific FBI agents involved need to be exposed and sent to the unemployment line. It's one thing to have political bias. That's not a crime. It's another thing to leverage your political bias to take down a president, for no other reason than your political bias.

Close the Russia investigation. It's time to move on.
