Two weeks ago, a group of Parkland teens was allegedly sitting around a kitchen table saying they should do something about guns. No word yet on if their after-school snack consisted of cookies or Tide Pods. Now these students get wall-to-wall coverage making uninformed comments about guns (see Activist David Hogg Praises Fellow Teen's Extreme Gun Control Proposals and Stockton Anti-Gun Violence Protest Becomes Violent). It seems inconceivable.

Then comes this report, which documents how powerful leftist special interest groups are organizing on the teens' behalf. I'm sorry, not "organizing." Should be "dictating every move they make."

Since then, major players and organizations — including Everytown, Giffords, Move On, Planned Parenthood, and the Women’s March LA — told BuzzFeed News they are helping the students with logistics, strategy, and planning for next month’s March for Our Lives rally and beyond. Much of the specific resources the groups are providing to the Parkland students remains unclear — as is the full list of supporting organizations — but there are broad outlines.

In other words, intersectionalityAF!

No word on if those broad outlines are, "just do what we tell you." That would be pretty broad.

A spokesperson for Planned Parenthood said the group is "teaching and hosting trainings” for young activists across the US “to keep momentum going so they don't get burned out."

Planned Parenthood. Working with kids. For a rally called "March for Our Lives." Planned Parenthood is helping kids march for their lives.

The American Federation of Teachers, which helped bus students and parents to Tallahassee multiple times last week, are now assisting with the March for Our Lives rally. The federation’s president told BuzzFeed News that they are also helping support next month's march as well as helping to shape the vision and mission for the group once the rally is over.

Teachers encouraging kids to cut class. Liberalism at its finest!

So basically, this is really just Occupy Women's March: Gun Edition. Just wait until Antifa gets involved.

I don't doubt the teens' sincerity. They're just grossly uninformed about anything having to do with gun issues. Or anything else for that matter. But in their defense, so are most other people who are anti-gun. Anti-gun idiots are either somewhat uninformed or full Chuck Schumer in desperate need of a padded room, fully equipped with virtual hugs. The teens are the former. What with them having underdeveloped brains. Though David Hogg is on my last nerve. He reeks of Peeta delivering Panem's propaganda in Hunger Games.

If we could, let's just stop with the "there's something different happening this time" schtick. No. It's the same old leftist, anti-gun noise. By the same old leftist organizations. Just with new faces, fresh faces. Hijacked from a Beiber concert.
