Report: That Donald Trump 'N-Word Tape?' It Doesn't Exist...
There is nothing for which leftists won't attack Donald Trump (see CNN Attacks Military Who Asked for Trump’s Autograph. About That… and Dan Rather Uses Santa and Little Girl to Bash Trump on Climate Change). But they've really been having soggy dreams about the mythical "n-word tape." The alleged recording of Trump saying the word while recording The Apprentice.
Sorry leftists, but according to this profile on Mark Burnett, no one other than Tom Arnold and whatever drugs he's on (allegedly) thinks the tape actually exists.
Gag reels of cast members highlighting off-color or embarrassing moments were commonly circulated, Braun said. Any such racial comment would have been noticed. “If there was a tape, it would have spread like wildfire,” Braun said.Another staffer from The Apprentice backed up that claim. “If somebody had the goods, it would have leaked long ago. There were no Trump fans on the set. I don’t know a single person who worked on the show who voted for Trump.”
The anonymous source added that cameras were always on at the crowded set, unlike another situation where Trump was caught on tape using offensive language against women. “In the ‘Access Hollywood’ tape, Donald was on a bus. He thought he was alone. He never thought he was alone in the boardroom. It was a set.”
Leftists be like...
The salivating over a mythical tape is a perfect example of how anti-Trump leftists are actually some of Trump's greatest allies. There are legitimate reasons to criticize Trump, if for no other reason than he's a politician with an R following his name, who doesn't always behave as if there's an R following his name. Plus the tweeting, the spelling errors, or any number of policies for which people can find fault, on either side of whatever aisle Trump woke up on that morning.
Leftists don't seem to care about substance. They want to chase after one silver bullet which leads to the president saying in a press conference "You're not going to have Trump to kick around anymore." The n-word tape. The Russian pee tape. Video of him donkey punching a puppy. Nothing is too ridiculous for the media to chase down. Or, as it turns out, nothing is too fake for the media to chase down.
