Paging Chris Matthews' optometrist: the old bat needs to get his eyes checked. Today his blindness mistook Nancy Pelosi for being ethnic. Then used her to attack Republicans for being racist. Yes really. And it's only Tuesday.

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews inexplicably referred to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi as an “ethnic sort of person” during a “Hardball” segment Monday night.

Matthews suggested that Trump attacks Pelosi because she is “ethnic” and “from the coasts.”

“Picking on somebody from the coasts, usually ethnic, and making them the poster person of the Democratic Party is old business for the Republicans,” Matthews claimed. “They did that for Tip O’Neil, they did it after Teddy, and now they do it after Nancy Pelosi.”

“They take an ethnic sort of person from one of the coasts and make them the [bad] person,” he concluded.

Firstly, ethnic could mean anything from an Irish Catholic to Haitian Jack. But Matthews, in perfectly leftist fashion, has hijacked the term to refer to those darker in the melanin department. Just one problem here. Nancy Pelosi is white. Born in America. No more ethnic than the synthetic toupee that died and went to hair purgatory on Chris Matthews' scalp.

Chris couldn't tell salsa from ketchup. The extent of his dancing skills are the Cupid Shuffle and Cha Cha Slide. And he probably chugged a Pumpkin Spice Latte before this segment. He has no vested interest in "ethnic" communities outside of virtue signaling and garnering support for his preferred political party. Yet he feels the need to champion on their behalf, calling out Republicans for allegedly targeting them for no reason outside of their non-whiteness.

Clearly this isn't the case, seeing as his prime example (Nancy Pelosi) is as white as the bottom of his pallid posterior. Get thee to a tannery. The truth is, whether it's Nancy Pelosi or Donna Brazile, conservatives tend to hone in on pillars of stupidity. Race notwithstanding.

This stupidity sounds a tad familiar. It's a lot like how Elizabeth Warren considers herself a person of color. More like a person of colorful imagination. The left wants so badly to claim the helm of minority victimhood, they'll commit political blackface just to garner more SJW points. All the while accusing right-wingers of racism.

Such lazy racist accusations were almost as bad a fail as the orange makeup slathered onto Matthews' face. Alas, all the concealer in the world can't distract from this degree of idiotness.
