Trespasser Arrested At RFK Jr.'s Home, Returns After Release And Gets Arrested Again The SAME DAY
Los Angeles has a zero-bail policy that always allows people being charged with a crime to be cited and released when they would have previously been held on bond. Progressives assured everyone and their grandmas that this would be for criminal suspects accused of non-serious crimes.
And if we acquiesce, then maybe, just maybe, we can finally solve racism.
Well, one of those not-so-serious crimes includes breaking and entering into a presidential candidate's home.
On Wednesday night an intruder was arrested after climbing a fence at the residence of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. After he was released from police custody, he decided to continue on with his criminal conspiracy.
The first incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. when the suspect allegedly climbed a fence and asked to see Kennedy, according to his campaign.
Kennedy’s private security company detained the man and turned him over to the LAPD. Responding officers placed the suspect in custody and transported him to the West Los Angeles police station, where he was reportedly cited and released.
According to NBC, 28-year-old Jonathan Macht was identified by authorities and is currently held on a $30,000 bail for violating an emergency protective order.
Over the last several months, the campaign submitted formal requests for Secret Service protection, yet U.S. Department of Homeland Security Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas has denied the request, according to the campaign.
Every presidential administration for 55 years has afforded early protection to candidates who requested it.
“The Biden administration is the sole outlier,” the campaign said.
The Biden Administration not allowing its opponent protection is very third world of them, if you ask me.
This is not the first time the presidential candidate has run into an unwanted guest.
Last month, an armed man was arrested for posing as a U.S. Marshal at an event in Los Angeles for his candidacy.
“The man claimed to be part of Kennedy’s security team,” the campaign statement said. He told the candidate’s security team “that he needed to be taken to the candidate immediately”.
The man was booked on a charge of carrying a concealed weapon and he received no charge for impersonating an officer.
The man's father and uncle were assassinated. How can anyone justify not giving this man protection?
What’s that saying I am thinking of? It is something about “history repeating itself?”
Let’s just hope the third time is the charm since his campaign just submitted ANOTHER request for protection.
All that said, here is just another prime example of how progressive policies cause “unintended” consequences that hurt everyone and it does not matter how famous or rich your family is.
Progressives in Los Angeles decided that bail is racist and subsequently ignored any interest in public safety that bail is intended to protect.
The progressive county has abandoned the only tool that prevents flight from justice, and all at the expense of individual liberty.
In all seriousness, if this incident is not considered a “serious” or “violent” crime, what the heck is?
Let's just hope this is the one progressive policy that will finally solve racism.
