Richard Dawkins Compares Clock Boy to ISIS Jihadi. Leftists FREAK!
Richard Dawkins is famous for, among other things, his passionate atheism. Yeah, that always seemed like an oxymoron to me, too. How can you be passionate about not believing in something you think is fake? It's like being a passionate nonbeliever in unicorns. Whoa, calm down internet. I know unicorns are people too. #UnicornsLivesMatter
Dawkins is also famous for speaking his mind on the Twitters, but this time he sparked a fuse with the Twitter tweeps by making this comparison between Clockster Ahmed Mohamed and an ISIS jihadi:
"But he's only a kid." Yes, a "kid" old enough to sue for $15M those whom he hoaxed. And how old is this "kid"? https://t.co/kjzxGDs5Az— Richard Dawkins (@Richard Dawkins) 1448375278.0
Okay, so credit where it's due? Ballsy. Richard Dawkins compared the Clock Boy to an ISIS jihadi in the same digital climate which will lynch you if you condemn Islam after a Muslim blows something up while yelling Allah Akbar. Or if you say something even more outrageous like "All lives matter." But Dawkins walked into this firestorm and didn't back down. He did take the time to respond to the most stupid tweets to explain the position he took:
@boringfileclerk I don't hate Muslims. I hate people who behead, stone, lash, and throw people off high buildings. Most Muslims don't.— Richard Dawkins (@Richard Dawkins) 1448376252.0
@boringfileclerk No, I just want to alert the gullible fools who fell for his scam. And STILL fall for it even after his $15M demand!— Richard Dawkins (@Richard Dawkins) 1448376558.0
On this, Dawkins and I agree. Firstly, he's comparing ages of these two kids. That's it. He's not equating a silly demand for $15 million to taking a head. Because obviously they're not even close to the same thing. Okay? Okay.
But a teenager isn't "just a kid" he's able to make decisions on his own. Again, he didn't say Ahmed Mohamed is a terrorist (and nor am I). What Dawkins did point out was just because someone is under 18 doesn't mean they're magically innocent and know not what they do (watch this Child Jihadi Taunt Barack Obama with Grenade Launcher). Secondly, Ahmed Mohamed is a hoax. He and his family are as truthful as that time the unicorn came over to my house for tea and croquet in the backyard. The pope was there, too. An amazing dancer, the pope. You wouldn't know it, but he does the Macarena better than anyone I know.
Lastly, yeah Dawkins played the Muslims do evil things card. He's not backing down from that either. Which, when you show a picture of a teenage jihadi about to behead someone, arguments that Islam is the religion of peace are kinda hard to make. Don't believe us?
