The judge presiding over the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse has been great. I don't believe one could have asked for a fairer judge in this trial, especially taking into account the number of activist judges throughout the country. But Kyle lucked out, and the man ensuring the trial is fair seems to be a good man.

If one needs proof of the nature of Judge Awesome—as I have declared he be addressed as—one need only check out some of the highlights from the first day of the defense's arguments. But if further proof is needed, how about this.

At one point during the trial, the judge's phone goes off. He is quick to silence the ring, but some people caught the tune pretty fast.

It's a little piece of Lee Greenwood's "Proud to be an American".

Some have commented on Twitter that the left is going to lose their minds: call him a white supremacist for liking a patriotic song, call for a mistrial, attempt to say the judge was biased because he isn't a woke leftist.

I'm sure all of these things will inevitably occur, and we will all be able to sit back and relax as the fireworks of exploding leftist heads erupt, preferably to a rendition of the 1812 overture—which will only make more heads explode because it was written by an old white guy.

For now, however, I can say that the judge seems like a decent man. I like his taste in music. And Rittenhouse might only have a chance here because this judge isn't a political hack out to prove his woke bona fides.
