Rob Lowe, Adam Scott lament how much Los Angeles sucks and how "everyone should be fired," but they don't quite get it...
Progressive voters who let themselves get manipulated by social issues into voting against their self-interests keep reelecting the same progressive leaders to enact the same progressive policies in progressive cities, then wonder why that city sucks so bad. Los Angeles has gotten so horrible it's hard to even be a film and TV star these days. Rob Lowe and Adam Scott were lamenting as much on Lowe's "Literally!" podcast. Question: who do you think they voted for?
Lowe was talking about his new game show "The Floor," which films in Ireland. LA and California have gotten so bad that it's cheaper to send 100 Americans overseas to work on a show than to film across the street in Hollywood. The actor reached what should be a common-sense conclusion:
“It’s criminal what California and LA have let happen. It’s criminal. Everybody should be fired.”
Adam Carolla was watching and reached a similar but different conclusion:
"They get it when it comes to their business. Why doesn’t Hollywood understand that’s how it works with every business."

Great. So when Rob Lowe says everyone needs to be fired, that must mean he's signed on to recall current incompetent LA Mayor Karen Bass. Right? RIGHT?
Los Angelinos had the chance in 2022 to elect Rick Caruso, a businessman and more moderate Democrat, to be mayor. Instead, they let themselves get manipulated by progressives and the media (but I repeat myself) because Caruso was an evil "billionaire" who was looking to "buy" the election. As a result, Los Angeles voted to maintain the status quo that has laundry detergent locked up since crime is out of control... because the elected officials that Los Angeles and California VOTE FOR pass policies that encourage it.
My questions for the actors are threefold. 1. What specific officials need to be fired? 2. Did you vote for these people when they last ran for office, and why? 3. What are you going to do about it now?
When voters keep voting for the same failed leadership over and over again, it gets to a point where they have no one to blame but themselves. Or they move to Florida.
