Others, like Robert De Niro? Not so much. Apparently the actor felt it necessary to speak out in defense of Meryl Streep's "bravery." His thought dribble managed to miss the point entirely. Maybe it's a post concussion thing after one too many shots to the head in Grudge Match...

What you said was great. It needed to be said, and you said it beautifully. I have so much respect for you that you did it while the world was celebrating your achievements. I share your sentiments about punks and bullies. Enough is enough. You, with your elegance and intelligence, have a powerful voice – one that inspires others to speak up as they should so their voices will be heard too. It is so important that we ALL speak up.

Blatant butt kissing aside, the stupidity of this letter makes one want to harm oneself. If ever you needed proof of the disconnect between celebrities and reality - this is it. In case you haven't noticed, Hollywood seems rather out of touch with regular folks. Well, the majority of them. There are a few glimpses of sanity here and there. Like Denzel Washington telling Hollywood actors to slow their roll and stop being impressed with the smell of their own flatulence.

Still, the leftist machine stops for no one. Not even its own (see Caitlyn Jenner Endorses Ted Cruz. Gay Liberals RAGE!). Anybody who opposes progress can expect to be promptly steamrolled.

But remember, it's Trump who bullies people. Not the leftist, Hollywood elite...
