Shocking news broke by Politico late Monday night. For the first time in the history of the institution, a majority decision for the Supreme Court was leaked to the press. By a 5-4 vote (or at least a 5-3 vote, for now) SCOTUS has voted to overturn Roe v. Wade. The decision isn't expected to be made public for at last two months. Hence the scandalous nature of the leak.

Roe v. Wade is what makes abortion legal throughout America, and abortion is a religious sacrament to leftists. Some have called aborting unborn children an "act of love." Here are a few birthing people already melting down over the possibility they may not be able to abort their choices.

As soon as the decision leaked, barricades were right away put up outside of the Supreme Court building in anticipation of mostly peaceful protests.

So, what does this all mean? For starters, the person who leaked the decision will be celebrated as a deity by the media. CNN and MSNBC will fight over who gets to give them a job. And depending on how many of the left's marginalized groups the leaker checks off, you'll be told criticizing the leaker is unacceptable. Sure, the leaker blew up an institution and destroys a norm. But he/she/xi did so in the name of the progressive agenda. So it's a'ight.

If the decision is made official--critics say it was leaked to encourage abortion advocates to threaten justices--all that would do is send the decision on how legal abortion is to the states. The leaked decision reads “We hold that Roe and [Planned Parenthood v. Casey] must be overturned. It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”

In places like New York and California, you'll still be able to abort babies up to and including when the baby comes out. You'll be able to give yourself an abortion live on radio as a publicity stunt. When the progressive left starts pushing that legalized abortion until the fifth trimester is a sacred right, it will be for that state's legislature to determine. Your most vocal pro-abortion apostles live in those states. Nothing will change for them.

But in some states, you may only be allowed to get an abortion up until 15 weeks. That's the change.
