The New York Times has a sad. How will they ever take Ron DeSantis out of context and subject him to bitterly partisan questioning if he refuses to talk to them? They wrote newspaper-content bashing him for not subjecting himself to them and other corporate media outlets. That'll learn him!

DeSantis, who has elevated media-bashing into a high art form for conservatives, knows corporate/leftist media won't treat him fairly. So guess what? DeSantis doesn't waste his time. Leaving the NYT to be all boo-boo faced about it.

Representatives of Mr. DeSantis did not return requests for comment on a piece about how Ron DeSantis won't talk to the New York Times. But Team DeSantis' Christina Pushaw offered the perfect one-word response.

The entire concept of a non-partisan media is bullplop. And contrary to bitterly-partisan media outlets like the New York Times, it's not just the far right who thinks so. It's Trump supporters. It's republicans. It's conservatives. It's moderates. It's the consultant class. It's RINOs. It's libertarians. It's apolitical people. Joe Rogan and Dave Portnoy just had a kibitz about how there's no such thing as "non-partisan" media.

No one trusts an alleged "non-partisan" media. The only people who feel otherwise are employed by corporate media or partisan leftists that rely on corporate media to spread their narrative.

Ron DeSantis, unlike some people, doesn't yearn for media approval. He doesn't need to give them full access, then act shocked that they acted like snakes when their articles hit. DeSantis knows damn well the media are snakes before talking to them. So he doesn't. He doesn't need to.
