I know we're supposed to care about a rematch between the two elderly presidential front runners: Joe Biden and Donald Trump. But I find Ron DeSantis vs Gavin Newsom much more interesting. The two have been clapping back against each other since the California Governor decided to campaign for reelection (in California) on Florida television. The latest shot has been fired by DeSantis.

He took to the streets of San Francisco to show what a sh*thole Newsom (the former mayor) and his progressive policies have turned the city into.

"We're here in the once-great city of San Francisco. We came in and we saw people defecating on the street. We saw people using heroin. We saw people smoking crack cocaine. And you look around, the city is not vibrant anymore. It's really collapsed because of leftist policies. These policies have caused people to flee the area. They don't prosecute criminals as they do in most parts of the country, and the wreckage has really been sad to see."

Here's the money line:

"No wonder why we've had so many people move from San Francisco to Florida over the years."

Like Gavin Newsom's IN-LAWS as two examples from off the top of my head of people who have been driven from the state Newsom is governor of because of Newsom's policies.

If I may be so bold as to offer Team DeSantis some constructive criticism, it is always good to show your sources. Don't worry. We got you on this one:

There would not be a more pure national debate between what the right and the left believe than Ron DeSantis vs. Gavin Newsom. Both have strong ideological beliefs and are the chief executives of states where those beliefs have turned into policies. Florida and California are two IRL examples of what conservative vs progressive governance is. Let the two of them crisscross the country making the case to the rest of America.

My money is on Florida winning.
