Ron DeSantis removes another woke Soros-backed prosecutor after two police officers were shot: "Dereliction of duty"
Ron DeSantis tweeted the words "LAW AND ORDER" in all caps at 3:00 in the morning today. Ok, so he didn't achkshually do that. But he did remove another weak-on-crime Soros-backed prosecutor from office after two cops were shot by someone who should have been in jail.
Via executive order, Ninth Judicial Circuit State Attorney Monique Worrell, who was backed by a group tied to Democrat benefactors George Soros, was removed from her post for dereliction of duty. The governor's office said in a statement: "The practices and policies of her office have allowed murderers, other violent offenders, and dangerous drug traffickers to receive extremely reduced sentences and escape the full consequences of their criminal conduct. In some cases, these offenders have evaded incarceration altogether."
The final straw may have been this past weekend. A man who was arrested in March 2023 for sexual battery on a minor and Lewd and Lascivious Molestation, who was already on probation for a past offense, was allowed out on bail by Worrell. He then shot two police officers.
But that was more of a final straw thing. Her equity agenda is like a laundry list of every stereotypical woke Democrat attorney who wants more crime for whatever reason:
And while a serious topic, any day we get Sheriff Grady Judd content is a great day to be alive.
Worrell is being replaced with former judge Andrew Bain.
This comes a year after DeSantis kicked another anti-enforcing laws Soros-back attorney, State Attorney Andrew Warren, for not enforcing the laws. Which, you know, is kinda in the job description. “We are not going to allow this pathogen of ignoring the law to get a foothold in the state of Florida.”
Since there are any number of reoccurring storylines going on right now, I'm sure we know what comes next: Media cries about DeSantis being a "dictator," accusations of antisemitism because the name "Koch Brothers"... err, I mean "Soros" was uttered, and DeSantis not giving a shit.
