It's Tuesday, so that means somewhere in America there is an election happening. Today, it's in Florida, where Ron DeSantis will find out who his Democratic opponent will be in the 2022 gubernatorial election. DeSantis dropped a new campaign ad today for the 2022 election, inspired by Top Gun: Maverick--a campaign ad where he doesn't mention *checks notes* 2022, Florida, or the gubernatorial election.

His opponent in this video is a more powerful opponent than what's-her-face and the other guy. One that needs to be fought... nationally. It's the corporate media. Also known by some as the legacy media.

The rules of engagement in dealing with corporate media are as follows:

1. Don’t fire unless fired upon, but when they fire, you fire back with overwhelming force.

2. Never ever back down from a fight.

3. Don’t accept their narrative.

It's an effective ad that could only be improved with Van Zandt covering "Danger Zone." Also, while I understand the aviators had to do with the source material, I couldn't help but notice they helped contrast with another sunglasses aficionado.
