The Ron DeSantis-hating cable news has plenty to cry about this morning. America's Governor Ron DeSantis appeared with the other person who makes them boo-boo-faced, Tucker Carlson. No doubt, they'll attack DeSantis for "partisan politics" while they interview DeSantis opponent and professional Twitter troll Nikki Fried.

DeSantis and Carlson took turns dunking on Joe Biden using DeSantis as a distraction from his own failures: the border, inflation, Afganistan, senility, incontinence, etc. But it's the phrase "medical authoritarianism" that will really get underpants lodged up sphincters. Soiled ones if we're talking about Joe Biden.

They are basically saying that we are all just subservient to a medical authoritarianism. Whatever they think needs to be done, we have to submit to it. It's probably, Tucker, the most significant threat to freedom in my lifetime, certainly since the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Because taking it to its logical conclusion, you end up with Australia, where they're forcing lockdowns.

It's all things the people who control Joe Biden want to bring to this country, except our Constitution stands in the way. For now. Way too many of you are telling pollsters you are okay with government mandates, needing to show your papers to go for a cheeseburger, and treating your neighbors like second-class citizens if they make a different personal medical decision for themselves than you did. And I say this as someone who made the personal decision to get the shot (yet manages to not have an opinion on how you do you): Wake the f*ck up. This doesn't end with this one "virus." Just Google Variant, Lambda.

Say you're okay with the restrictions and the lockdowns and the authorriantarism now over this one issue. What happens when it's over an issue you're NOT okay with? An issue where you think the government is going too far, yet your neighbors have been let themselves be scared into turning on you? The government has already been given precedent on being allowed to limit Americans over what they deem a "public health crisis." It's only a matter of time before you're on the "wrong side" yourself.
