Rose McGowan Savages Bill Clinton's Refusal to Apologize
Kudos to Rose McGowan. Who I'm sure the only issue on which she agrees with us is that Bill Clinton is sleazy bag of dog sh!t. Some on the left/in the media tried to give Bubba some cover. Some even wanted to convince us that lobbing ONE -- singular -- "tough" interview in twenty years is proof there's no Clinton media bias.
McGowan doesn't have any time for that.
Bill Clinton. Here is the truth of it: a human life was altered & destroyed due to your selfishness. Because. You.… https://t.co/pwJ7EINlN1— rose mcgowan (@rose mcgowan) 1528142263.0
McGowan owes the floor an apology.
Let me also say this. Many of us view #MeToo with skepticism. Which is fair. Sometimes the #MeToo movement seems like mostly an excuse for Hollywood to virtue signal over its industry looking the other way as Harvey Weinstein raped his way through central casting. McGowan won't let them get away with it without a little colorful commentary (see Rose McGowan Exposes the Truth About Hollywood and #TimesUp and Rose McGowan BLASTS Alyssa Milano’s #MeToo Hypocrisy). The appearance of doing something isn't as important to her as actually do something.
Hence the harsh words for Harvey's good friend Bill.
If media and Hollywood were serious about #MeToo, serious as in ridding the world of dastardly rapists, Bill Clinton's interview would've been followed by a series of calls from media figureheads, and powerful influencers in politics, demanding Bill Clinton not just apologize to Monica Lewinsky (and his other victims) but to somehow atone for his sins.
Alas, what we have here is a tweet from an actress instead. So much for a great movement.
