Remember the confusion about Caitlyn Jenner posing naked on the cover of Sports Illustrated with Bruce Jenner's medals? This might make sense of it a little, or make even less sense because that's the world we live in now. Confusion is the new norm. Also, don't say anything about your confusion, you may be called an intolerant bigot.

Here's the skinny: rumor has it Caitlyn Jenner is tired of being Caitlyn and wants to be Bruce. Again at this stage it's just a rumor. So grain of salts to be used here. Still, they should make pills for this...

Caitlyn Jenner, who announced her transition from man to woman last year, has considered de-transitioning, the author of a new book about the Kardashian family told TheWrap on Wednesday.

Ian Halperin, the author of “Kardashian Dynasty: The Controversial Rise of America’s Royal Family,” said that, while researching his book, multiple sources told him that the former Olympian had been miserable for months and has considered transitioning back to a man.

“One source confirmed to me Caitlyn has made whispers of ‘sex change regret,’ hinting she might go back to being Bruce Jenner,” Halperin said.

Granted, the source is writing a biography on the Kardashian family, so keep that it mind. He's also referring to the Kardashians as both a "dynasty" and a "royal family." So...

A few things here. For the sake of everything that is entertaining, we hope this rumor is true. It'll be fun if the leftists who thought Caitlyn's decision was so "brave" will feel the same about Bruce's decision to revert back to Bruce. You know, re-become the person he was at conception. Mainly a male. Bruce has many things to be proud of. Winning the gold medal in the Olympics among them. Caitlyn, on the other hairy hand, not so much.

But we doubt the left will throw a ticker-tape parade to commend Bruce's decision to become Bruce again. Call us cynical.

The second, more important thing? Transexuals are unhappy. Their high suicide rate proves as much. When it comes to transgender people, there's something going on upstairs which doesn't compute. That is, a man thinking he's a woman or a woman thinking she's a man. If you want to call that anything other than a mental problem, you're enabling delusion. To go along with the fantasy is quite dangerous to someone suffering from gender dysphoria (actual term for transgenderism). Just as you hopefully would not support someone who wanted to be blind or an amputee, so you shouldn't encourage a man to be a woman or vice versa. Sorry, but you're not showing love or support by playing along with a mental disorder (related TOLERANCE: UCLA Students Who Oppose Transgenderism Get Death Threats...).

Lastly, a man who "transitions" to a woman (a biological impossibility) having regrets? Not uncommon. In fact it's quite common for transgender people to have regrets, if they haven't offed themselves first. That's because addressing the underlying issues of gender dysphoria isn't as simple as donning your favorite Prada pumps. Or cutting off your tallywhacker.
