Russell Brand is a lefty who, when the world shut down and he was stuck in his house, had the opportunity to look around at what was really going on. He said to himself, "Self, these people are mental." His latest target is Canadian Prime Minister Justin "I Feel Pretty" Trudeau. To recap, Canada's walking pile of soy and hair care products told truckers they couldn't enter Canada unless they got their Fauci Ouchie. The truckers said they are coming in anyway, and there's a YUGE convoy heading to Ottawa to demand Trudeau's resignation. Trudeau had someone give him the coronavirus so he wouldn't be at work when they get there.

Brand can't help but notice a change in I.F.P. Trudeau's tone when it comes to discussing these noble truckers.

In March of 2020, while we were hashtag all in this together, I.F.P. Trudeau tweeted: "While many of us are working from home, there are others who aren’t able to do that - like the truck drivers who are working day and night to make sure our shelves are stocked. So when you can, please #ThankATrucker for everything they’re doing and help them however you can."

Fast forward two years and Trudeau is thanking those truckers by telling them to go f*ck themselves if they don't listen to Trudeau's government telling them to stick a needle in their arms or lose their livelihoods. Then, like with a lot of Brand's videos (because he's new) come the rhetorical questions: "Why are the media not reporting this important story of people coming together to express themselves peacefully? Why is that? And why is it that the truckers are being cast as villains in the national narrative when previously they were heroes? We're being told that these truckers are anti-vax when they are actually anti-vax mandate."

To answer Brand's questions: for the same reason corporate press didn't cover the huge anti-mandate rally in Washington DC this past weekend, or the annual pro-life march the day before. Both events go against the liberal narrative, therefore they need to be ignored. However, if the protest was for liberals defending their favorite social justice cause this week, reporters would be standing in front of burning police stations and saying it's most peaceful. As for an actual peaceful protest of Americans (or Canadians) who feel their government shouldn't dictate medical decisions, the media would rather find something Donald Trump said.
