Small business owners have been sold out by the progressive politicians they keep voting for in liberal cities like San Francisco. Cops can't and/or won't do anything. Stealing is essentially legal, and thieves are considered the elite of San Franciscan society. Thieves, the homeless, and Nancy Pelosi. All a small business owner can do is grab a baseball bat and swing for the fences, as this dude successfully did as he thwarted a smash and grab.

According to the local news affiliate, the camera store had been struggling for two years without much business, no doubt due to San Francisco's authoritarian pandemic restrictions. Now that they were lifted, customers started coming in. Money started flowing. And useless people to society decided to steal some of it. They entered the store armed with hammers. Sergio, the store owner, grabbed a bat. His neighboring store owner ran in and tried fighting them off with a plastic sign. Hey, any port in a storm!

Thankfully for Sergio, most of the counters were made of unbreakable plexiglass. Or the thieves were pussies and not strong enough to swing a bat. There was a scuffle. An employee was maced and hit with a hammer. But in the end, there were no major injuries, and the hoodlums were scared off. This time without a food fight. San Francisco is weird.

I wish these videos were rarer. But again, liberal city + liberal policies = why pay for things when you can steal them? It's at least fun to watch the cretins get beaten and chased off by citizens who have had enough. Now, the citizens have to remember to have enough on election day.
