Think about this. A guy running for President of Mexico made Los Angeles a campaign stop. He stumped for his election as Mexico's president. In California. I s*** you not. That brings us to San Francisco. San Francisco Sheriff Vicki Hennessy is apologizing. Not for the use of a hair tie in a town know for its flamboyant gayness. No, Hennessy did the worst thing you can do in California. Worse than telling a homeless person, "You can't poop there." She worked with immigration officials, allowing ICE to talk to an inmate. Yes, the Sheriff let immigration officials talk to an illegal immigrant. Heaven preserve us.

The San Francisco Sheriff’s Department allowed federal immigration officers into one of its jails to interview an inmate, a violation of jail policy and California sanctuary law, department officials said Monday.

Department policy broadly restricts cooperation with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, forbidding most communication with the agency and barring access to inmates, some of whom the government would like to detain for potential deportation.

“My staff made a mistake and I have to hold myself accountable,” she said. “I apologize on behalf of the department. I feel embarrassed by it. I’ve taken steps to make sure it never happens again.”

It isn't clear what was discussed or who the inmate was. Based on the gross overreaction everyone is having to a Sheriff following the law, probably safe to assume the illegal immigrant in question had skin at least two shades darker than whole milk. Like a dark white. If you're unclear how anyone can be "dark white" here's a tip: take white skin. Darken it.

Though this next line is my favorite part.

Sheriff Vicki Hennessy said the department’s policy had been in place before her 2015 election. She said it appeared ICE was “testing our defenses and they found some weak points.” The incident is under investigation, she said.

"Defenses." Like a Fortress of Illegal Solitude. Which is just Kryptonian cultural domicile appropriation. I guess it's fine to appropriate an alien's culture if that alien is a cisgendered white male.

There aren't defenses when it comes to people being here illegally. At least there shouldn't be. Here's how the conversation should go:
