By now we've all seen the consequences of the left's illegal immigrant fetish. It didn't pan out well for Europe. But we don't have to go all the way to Germany to see what open borders looks like. Just take a peek at San Francisco, or any other "sanctuary city" within America. Apparently they've been hoarding tons of illegals, and they don't plan on letting the federal government meddle with their collection...

The explosive growth of so-called "sanctuary cities" has reached over 300 and blocked federal officials from seizing, and likely deporting, more than 17,000 criminal illegals.

The center for Immigration Studies, which has collected the names of every sanctuary, reports: More than 17,000 detainers were rejected by these jurisdictions. Of these, about 11,800 detainers, or 68 percent, were issued for individuals with a prior criminal history.

"Detainers" are requests [from ICE] to city and county law enforcement to hold a suspected illegal criminal for federal arrest. Cities around the country, from Washington, D.C., to San Francisco, refuse the detainers, claiming that it's unfair to remove illegal immigrants.

"Unfair to remove illegal immigrants..."

You can't make this stuff up. The left actually believes in this thought flatulence (see The Atlantic Goes Full Moron: 'Give All Illegals Affordable or Free College NOW!'). It's a notion worthy of a thousand giggles. And facepalms. Here's a few highlights from our illegal amigos...

Notice anything amiss about this? These aren't the types of illegals the Democrats trot out onstage at the DNC. You might say they're a tad ashamed of these upstanding criminal immigrants. Yet these are the guys and gals being given forever homes inside of sanctuary cities.
