Legendary rock guitarist expresses common sense views on gender and... yep, there's his apology

My new rule for when "celebrity says there are two genders" is to wait a day to write about it. I don't want another Paul Stanley incident where he apologizes after publication. It's why I didn't touch this Carlos Santana story yesterday. However, it did get the guitar lick from "Maria Maria" stuck in my head. So that was nice.
Not the song from the movie. This Maria Maria only reminds me of a West Side story.
Santana was performing in New Jersey where he wanted to speak out on the hot-button issue. He also announced he was standing in solidarity with Dave Chappelle. Chappelle is best known for being Vice Transphobe In Charge behind head honcho JK Rowling.
“When God made you and me, before we came out of the womb, you know who you are and what you are. Later on, when you grow out of it, you see things, and you start believing that you could be something that sounds good, but you know it ain’t right. Because a woman is a woman and a man is a man. That’s it. Whatever you wanna do in the closet, that’s your business. I’m OK with that.”
Even though he uttered the word "God," everything Santana said was also based on science and biology. It may have been surprising in New Jersey where they demand middle schools teach your kids about butt sex. But it was a Santana audience. They're all old enough to remember when girls were girls and men were men. And the men weren't looking to share bathrooms with the girls.
But I know that you know what comes next. The clip was posted on the former bird app. Randos dropped X complaining about it. Journalismers like CNN used that as an excuse to create "the internet says famous person is a transphobe" content. Aaaaaaand... "I sincerely apologize to the transgender community and everyone I offended..."
If this PR-written apology that Carlos most likely doesn't know "Team Santana" posted on his Facebook page sounds familiar, it follows the same formula as the apology posted on behalf of R&B singer Ne-Yo. The difference is Ne-yo was quick to throw his PR team under the bus for it.
Congrats to everyone on Team Confusing Kids At As Early An Age As Possible. You scored a PR written apology in record time.
