Sarah Huckabee Sanders is carving herself a formidable vestige on my spirit animal totem. Today she scolded the reactionary press over Trump's  mostly accurate use of "animals" to describe the monsters of MS-13. Here's Sarah doubling down:

Sarah Huckabee Sanders is a fiery beast who takes no craps. She had every right to double down on Donald Trump's original statement, and I hope this administration ups the ante on MS-13, ups the insults, and continues to rub media's nose in its own caca.

Inside baseball moment: this morning in one of our emails, I actually said Trump's comments about MS-13 being "animals" was insulting to animals. Had Harambe, God rest his soul, been given the chance to play with the little boy in the water, I doubt he would've raped the child. Had the dentist not cut short Cecil the Lion's life, I doubt Cecil would've brutally murdered people for the mere sport of it. Supper, maybe. But the sport of killing? I don't think so.
