I've missed Sarah Huckabee Sanders. She was caught out in the rain, probably heading somewhere festive (one can only hope) when the press corps barraged her with questions about the government wall shutdown gate public relations nightmare. That's when she dropped kicked Senate Democrats.

She's not wrong. Frankly, the political game involved with our border security gets under my skin like a bad rash picked up no place fun. Both Democrats AND Republicans use illegal immigration as a political football, knowing Americans want a little border security.

Republicans continue kicking the can so they can continue promising better illegal immigration enforcement if only you continue voting for them! Democrats continue relying on the pulling of heartstrings to push back against Republicans, so they can continue receiving an inflow of needy people who want government kickbacks.

Games all played at our actual expense, in some cases costing people their actual lives, all so those in power can continue to remain in power.
