Have you noticed how leftists tend to group Islam into western culture? Despite it having a few non-western facets. You know, like oppression. Also, violence (read Meet 'Ashura': The Islamic Holiday That Calls for Mass Self-Inflicted Violence). It would seem that even on its best days, Islam doesn't exactly align with its western counterparts. Sharia law and whatnot.

For instance, Saudi Arabia's religion police recently uncovered a group of Christians in Mecca. Their crime? They possessed Bibles and were praying. That didn't go over well with Saudi officials. So they exercised their tolerance, of course. Just kidding. Those Christians? Deported. For being Christian.

27 Lebanese Christians [in Saudi Arabia] have been arrested and then deported to Lebanon after being found with Bibles in their homes and praying during the Virgin Mary festival. They were charged with conducting non-Islamic prayers.

Children are also included in the 27 people to be deported, although the exact amount has not been revealed yet. It was the Saudi religious police who had arrested them in the Al-Aziziyah neighborhood of Mecca.

Ah, how "moderate" of them. Next time someone accuses conservatives of being too anti-Islam, kindly point them to this. What about Islamic tolerance? Yeah, that's not a thing.

This is the part where we say "At least they weren't beheaded." Because hey, worse fates have been suffered under Sharia, right? (see Saudi Atheist Sentenced to 2000 Lashes For Anti-Allah Tweets...)

Except no. The fact that we're even inclined to say "At least nobody was beheaded, lashed or blown to bits"? That's indicative of a crappy culture. A culture that prefers mass jihad to, say, potluck parties.

I know, I know. Christian persecution? Hardly news. But keep in mind the context of the situation. Lately we've seen that the left prefers to vilify anyone but Muslims. Usually those who criticize Muslims... Because tolerance and stuff. (read Obama Visits US Mosque and Lectures America About "Hate." and Horrific Terrorist Attack in Nice, France. Cowardly Media Calls it 'Truck Attack.') Meanwhile, those Muslims? While their ideologies may differ, their persecutory nature is on par with that of their SJW admirers. Clearly.

By the way, notice how liberal compassion only applies to a select few? I've yet to see Obama chastise Muslims for targeting Christians. Or any non-Muslim for that matter. Too not transgender and/or not terrorist-y I suppose.
