Leftists get outraged over little things. I think it's one of the biggest differences between them and the right. They get upset when you say men are men, and we get a little irate when, say, a school board actively covers up and denies the rape of a female student. Prepare for some anger-inducing news, friends.

In another installment of "Reasons to Raze Public Schools," a student at Hawthorne Academy High School in Charlotte, North Carolina, was suspended late last month after reporting several, near-daily sexual assaults. The school did the right thing, informing the local police of the report. But after the police investigated and found enough evidence to charge the boy with sexual battery, the school suspended the girl for "filing a false report."

If this sounds strange to you, don't worry—It sounds strange to all of us. What justification does the school have to claim the report was false when the police found evidence enough to charge the boy? Your guess is as good as anyone's, including the mother of the girl, who spoke to the school.

"[I]t looks like there's no evidence that shows that what your daughter saying took place."

The mother was rightfully confused, telling the school official that the police sure thought so, that the boy admitted to the police that he had done it, and there's no reason to suspend her daughter.

They did anyway. "We have nothing else that we can do about this."

Several of the officials from the school were contacted by the local news to give statements or interviews about the handling of the event, but none would speak.

Days later, students at the high school walked out in protest of the school's handling of the case. Students believe the school is engaged in blaming the victim, a position that isn't too hard to believe seeing as how the girl was made to attend a class called "Sexual Harassment is Preventable."

It sounds like the mishandling of sexual assaults is becoming, or has been for a long time, a common practice in the public school system, and that's far from okay. Children were already unsafe from constant attacks on their minds, and now we find that the schools don't much care about physical violence, either.

This is alarming and repulsive. The public school system, as I've said before, is a garbage heap. It's a monster that only wants you to toss your children into its gaping maw year after year, unconcerned with their mental or physical safety. The only concern of the public schools is to ensure your children have been as brainwashed as possible by the time they leave.
