The California school district, according to Mario, is teaching the political ideology called "transgenderism" to children under the age of ten without parental consent. As Gov. Newsom likes reminding people, California isn't Florida. Mario has a niece and nephew in the school district and on behalf of them and his gay rights organization, he offered his dissent towards this public school policy.

If I were to teach your child about my sexuality without your consent or involvement, I'd be arrested. But when the school district does it, it's "education." Districts are teaching transgenderism when they should be teaching science, math, and language.

Mario brings up an interesting point. The rules over what can be discussed where are confusing. For example, there are sexually explicit books that are allowed in school libraries for children to read. It's called "inclusion." Yet when a parent tries to read one of those books to the school board that allows the book in the school, they get shut down for being inappropriate. Then and only then is the book considered "pornography." It's quite vexing.

The activist then presented an analogy. The rigid orthodoxy that leftists have over the political ideology of "transgenderism" resembles the extreme devotion some people have towards various religions of the world. Imagine if you placed the word "trans" with "Jesus."

Teachers are hiding student pronouns from their parents under the guise of gender affirmation. Can you imagine an uproar if schools were evangelizing or baptizing children without parental consent? Isn't that sort of what you're doing?

I'm guessing a school board member of a California public school would argue that while it is okay to identify as "trans" it is not okay to identify as "Christian." Therein lies the difference.

Gays Against [Redacted to Comply with Meta Community Guidelines], the gay rights organization Mario is a part of, has found itself embroiled in controversy itself. Big Tech companies are banning the organization created to protect children from using their platforms. Yet if you replace the word "against" with "for," they would allegedly still be allowed on PayPal, Venmo and Google.

The debate over what is appropriate to expose children under ten to rages on. It shouldn't still be raging on, yet here we are.
