Virginia school districts were the epicenter of the parent movement that has since swept the nation in the wake of Governor Glenn Youngkin's election. Loudoun County schools were responsible for sexually gr**ming children and facilitating the rape of not one but two young girls after they caved to the trans lobby. In Fairfax County, they perpetuated racist myths and even sought to censor online speech.

Not ones to rest on their laurels, Fairfax County Public Schools is back in the news, this time for allowing a known pederast to remain on staff for two years. The Post Millennial reports that Darren Thornton was arrested in November 2020 and June 2022 for "solicitation of prostitution from a minor." After both arrests, the local PD notified the district. It was only after Thornton was added to the National Sex Offender Registry that any action was taken to terminate him.

Superintendent Dr. Michelle Reid--who was not the superintendent at the time of Thornton's first arrest--has allegedly opened an investigation into how Thornton could have slipped through the cracks and been allowed to continue working for the district after his first arrest.

"I have initiated a comprehensive, independent investigation by outside counsel into the circumstances surrounding this situation. This is being carried out by an independent third party who has complete visibility into all internal processes. While I am not able to speak to the specifics of the investigation at this time, I can confirm that it covers both internal and external processes.”

I'm interested in figuring out how this disgusting bag of filth was allowed to remain employed, but I'm also curious as to why he wasn't thrown in jail and why he wasn't immediately registered as a sex offender after the first arrest. Those things have nothing to do with the school, but they certainly are circumstances that allowed him to somewhat coast along under the radar.

Sex perverts who like to diddle children seem to be about as common as drag queens in schools these days because cognitive handicapping and emotionally stunting children just isn't enough these days. Now, they need to be sexually and emotionally abused for the public school system to call their indoctrination program a success.
